Kristina Tran
Kristina Tran is a visual artist and graphic designer living and working in Rochester, MN. She is always creating a piece of art, it’s her happy place and you could say a bit of an obsession!
She works in a variety of mediums including fiber, jewelry, clay, marker, pen, pastels, paint, and color pencil… just to name a few. She has never met a medium that she didn’t love! She received a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from UMD in 2008, and her love of color, pattern and shape has carried over into her art. Some say they can see her graphic design background reflected in her art. She finds joy from working and creating with her hands, and doesn’t like to limit the heights and possibilities when it comes to creativity.
Along with being an artist, she is also a mother to two boys who are full of energy and spunk! They keep her on her toes and are always offering up new artistic adventures they can try together!

“To me, being part of Threshold Arts means being part of an artist community that gives you an opportunity to grow as an artist. It also means being appreciated for your creativity and being around others who also love art.” - Kristina Tran
