Kathy “Kat” Forsman has a long history of creative adventures. A science geek by day, she primes her

creative juices to explore a multitude of different media in her personal time. As an Art Minor, she was

trained in a broad spectrum or disciplines, however Kathy prefers to operate in the realm of 3-

dimensional art, particularly textiles, sculpture, and jewelry. Learning to knit at age 8 set the

groundwork for her obsession with yarn and she hasn’t looked back. Currently she specializes in

freeform knitting and crochet, producing both functional and decorative creations without the use of

patterns. Each and every one is unique and an original!!
