K Flynn of Mago Studio works in both 2D and 3D media.
K's ceramics vacillate between functional and sculptural, with the goal of functional work with thoughtful design, usually with a porcelain or stoneware clay body. The clay becomes a canvas for her underglaze painting, finishing her pieces with a unique, lush quality.
Acrylic Paint is K's other medium of choice as she appreciate its flow and feel on both canvas and paper. Her work endeavors to incorporate traditional with contemporary, exploring her Korean heritage, whimsy, and often humor.
