Market Application

As the holiday shopping season approaches, we welcome local creatives to sell their wares in a group setting at the Chateau Theatre. This thoughtfully curated indoor market will feature food, drink, and entertainment options available for shoppers and vendors to enjoy while they explore the offerings of forty local vendors. In 2022, more than 2,000 shoppers visited the inaugural event, which is quickly becoming a beloved seasonal tradition in the heart of downtown Rochester.

Dates: Saturday, May 4, 10 am - 2 pm
Fee: $75 for Threshold Arts members / $100 for non-members

Space is limited, and applications will be accepted through March 7, 2024. Applicants will be juried and notified of acceptance status by March 12, 2023.

Artist Responsibility:

  • Provide required marketing content no later than March 24, 2024.

  • Share event information on social media platforms and tag Threshold Arts and Chateau Theatre.

  • Provide all display fixtures and equipment.

  • Manage all sales and provide necessary packaging.

  • Arrive during assigned load-in time and be set up and ready to vend by 9:45 pm. Late arrivals may be turned away.

Threshold Arts Responsibility:

  • Provide an approximately 10x10’ footprint for vending.

  • Promote market using: Threshold Arts website, Facebook event, local community calendars, press release, and posters distributed throughout the community.

  • List each participating vendor on Threshold Arts website, Facebook event, and Instagram post
