As a neuroscientist by training and mixed media artist, my passion for life-long learning influences my desire to explore various mediums and techniques. I’ve experienced how these two disciplines not only work in concert, but need one another. I began developing my skills when I realized there was a need for better illustration of technical topics. Art became my outlet throughout my PhD and I’ve learned by blending my skills that I can translate my experiences into something beautiful for others to enjoy and communicate science in an approachable way.

Currently, my main medium is digital artwork with small bouts of exploration into acrylic on canvas and wearable art.

My clean illustration style is extremely versatile. Past commissions have included logo design, scientific illustration and graphical abstracts for grant submission, and digital portraiture.
