Willow Gentile Art

Willow is an intuitive plein air painter. She gains inspiration from the energy and saturated colors found in surroundings. Her large scale paintings encapsulate the scenes with broad gestural brushstrokes put with awkward angles creating a skewed perspective to her work. Willow also creates lino block prints of downtown Rochester, plant puns, and countryside scenes. She prints these onto paper and clothing. Willow teaches beginner drawing and painting at her Rochester home-studio, Willomina Art studio. She opened a shop/studio/gallery in October 2022 in Lake City, MN called Willow Gentile Studio and Gallery.
